The Resonance Sound Art and New Music Film Festival is searching for submissions exploring the world of video, sound art and new music. We invite artists, composers, musicians, filmmakers, and anyone who explores the intersection between experimental music and video.

We are looking for:

• Short films (up to 10 minutes) that explore the world of sound art and new music.

• Documentaries that delve into the creative process of sound artists and new music composers or showcase live performances.

• Experimental videos and animation works inspired by sound design, field recordings, and musical composition.

• Documentaries that showcase collaborations between visual or performance artists and musicians.

We are particularly interested in works that:

• Showcase the relationship between sound and visual.

• Experiment with new technologies in sound and image creation.

• Push the boundaries of traditional storytelling through sound.

Technical Requirements

• Format must be MP4 or MOV, minimum quality: HD

• You must have all the necessary rights and permissions for the submitted work.

* There is no entry fee

Submission deadline: August 15th.

The festival will take place at Grosso Modo Gallery by the end of September 2024.
